I know this because I’ve experienced a good amount of crap. Plus, I take my strap-on toys very seriously because as a woman, banging another with a penis is not the kind of intercourse that I’m used to, that all women are used to. We can’t feel anything using the fake dildo, so it’s important that we have good control and one can only get ultimate control when our strap-on harness fits well. Unfortunately, the harnesses in most kits I’ve come across over the years are usually made out of cheap material and don’t come even close to fitting well, especially if you’re really thin or overweight. I’ve been able to use the Bree Olson Strap-On Kit for 2 different play dates now, with 2 different lady friends and I’m glad to report that this is a quality kit through and through!
Great Fit!
Let’s tackle the harness first. It’s all purple and made of Naugahyde which is soft against your skin. Even the area where the dildo is attached, has a Naugahyde flap that lays against your skin, allowing you to pull the sucker really tight against your body, which I need to do, and it stills feel soft and comfortable. The harness is a t-back, fits like a thong, which is my favorite style because I feel it gives me a better fit, resulting in more control. Plus I feel the t-back has a more feminine appearance than the two-strap harness that fits more like a jock strap. Whether you want a two-strap or t-back is a totally personal opinion. However, this one gained some initial points being a t-back.
Nylon webbing with plastic buckles, “Owie!” Boy was I wrong!
The nylon webbing is softer than I expected and even when fitted very tightly, still caused me no discomfort. The best part of the Bree Olson Strap-on Kit is the plastic buckles that secure the harness on your body. These buckles allow you to get the perfect fit and more importantly, get the perfect fit ahead of play time! Unlike other harnesses where you have to put it on and pull those final tugs on the straps, this one can be preset. Just put it on by snapping the buckles, pull the nylon straps for the perfect fit and undo 1 side buckle to take it off. Then when you’re ready to use it, just step in like a pair of panties, snap the buckle and you’re ready to go. I used this harness in 2 different places and with 2 different ladies and putting on the harness didn’t interrupt the flow of the event because I just stepped in and snapped my buckle closed. Awesome!
Another important feature is making sure the dildo is securely attached to the harness. Too many kits have dildos that half-ass fit into the harness and resulting in a dildo that’s wobbling around while you’re trying to bang someone, a very frustrating experience. Luckily, that is NOT the case here. Once the dildo is attached to the harness, it’s not going anywhere. Plus, the dildo is easy to attach to the harness by sliding it through the hole and snapping closed.
The harness is touted to fit 18-48″ waists and I believe that. Having a 28-29″ waist, I could see that the straps could easily be pulled much tighter while my husband has a 36-37″ waist and there was clearly still a lot more strap left for people with bigger waists. So I’m going to take a leap and say that the size their touting is just about right. So with a comfortable fit on my body, a securely attached dildo, I felt VERY confident banging my lady friends.
Speaking of the dildo, this one’s fun!
It’s a jelly dildo that’s penis shaped with testicles and veins. Normally, that’s a bit too masculine for my taste in strap-on dildos, however, this one is purple glitter. Love it! Since it arrived, we loved the look of the dildo and immediately named it our “Disco Dick.” Don’t worry about the glitter coming off on your hands or in your body because it’s baked into the rubber. Adam & Even’s website and pacakage says the dildo is 7″ long which I don’t feel is quite accurate. It’s 7″ from the head of the penis down to the very bottom of the suction cup. However, this dildo has testicles, so you will not be inserting all 7″. The measurement of the insertable part is approx. 5 3/4″ (from the head of the penis to the bottom of the shaft just above the testicles) so it’s not frighteningly long. Pleasurable length is a personal thing, my one lady friend, we’ll call her D, thought the dildo was a bit too long. However my other lady friend, we’ll call her N, thought the length was great and enjoyed every single inch of it.
The head of the penis starts out thin (about 3/4″) and gradually gets thicker at the base of the shaft (about 2″). That’s a good thing for women because our vaginal openings become more elastic and open the more excited we get. So if a dildo gets thicker towards the bottom, then it will provide more of that feeling of fulfillment, which can be quite divine and which both lady friends felt and expressed they enjoyed. They both also mentioned that they could feel the bulging veins, which I thought was really cool.
This festive dildo is a independent sex toy in its own right having a suction cup base. When it’s not in the harness, it can be suctioned to your wooden coffee table, bathtub, shower walls or anywhere you can get it suctioned to. So you’ve also got a great dildo for non-harness play too. I love versatile toys!
There is a downside.
The only downside to me is that it’s made of a jelly material and while I’m doing all I can now to clean it with soap & water and spray it with a disinfectant toy cleaner, the jelly material does not clean completely or last forever. If you’ll be using this festive disco dick with multiple partners, it’s best to cover it with a condom. It has a rubbery smell initially, but nothing that’s overwhelming and it tends to fade away the more you leave it out and let air get to it.
As far as cleaning the harness, that’s a pretty simple task. I’ve been wiping mine down with a soapy cloth and wiping the soap away with a damp cloth and letting the harness sit out to air dry over night. This is done to the Naugahyde part and the nylon webbing straps. So far I feel it’s clean for the next time, especially the thong part that lives between my legs when I wear it.
I am very picky when it comes to Strap-Ons.

The Bree Olson Strap-On Kit has a great fit, making me feel very confident and allowing me to do a damn fine job during my strap-on experiences. Both my lady friends were very happy with their experience with me and I owe most of that to the well fitting harness. Also, it didn’t make me fell masculine in the least, the whole thing is purple and the glittery “disco dick” is just so much fun that I can’t wait to use this toy again.
