Juli Ashton plays Carla, an unhappy woman searching for true happiness. Her husband Justin, gives her a lot of attention and desires her very much, but Carla is still yearning for something more and finds it in the beds of their acquaintances. In this search of something more she becomes the plaything of all their friends. She is somewhat fulfilled during the act of sex, but once it’s over she’s once again unhappy. The web of infidelity and betrayal that she gets caught up in leaves her not only unhappy, but begins to ruin the relationships of everyone around her.
Bliss provides the viewer with 7 sex scenes: lots of oral, anal sex by Juli Ashton and Chloe (the best in the biz) and vaginal sex. There’s lots of reverse cowgirl, which is always a treat! There’s heterosexual sex, lesbian sex, bondage sex and sex with a prostitute
Chloe’s sex scene is the best in the whole movie. She plays a bit of a freaky girl in this movie. She picks up Max in a bar, he thinks he’s god’s gift to women and uses him for her own pleasure and gives him the boot afterwards. It’s a great scene, she restrains herself and has some pretty intense anal sex in a sleazy hotel. Her scene alone is worth watching the whole movie.
Yes, the Bliss DVD contains behind the scenes footage, director’s commentary with Antonio Passolini, Juli Ashton and Tina Tyler, an out take commentary track, true multiple angle viewing, photo gallery, dolby stereo and star biographies
This is a full length feature film for the adult industry. One of Antonio Passolini’s trademarks is his ability to film long, steamy sex scenes. Not many directors can pull it off without becoming monotonous. He has a good amount of edits and also likes to film through things: mirrors, glasses, windows; giving the movie a sort of voyeuristic feel. The storyline moves along quite well and all the actors do a great job outside their sex scenes. When I first started watching Bliss I thought, “This is a pretty sad storyline for a porn.” And it is, but it’s the drama that totally sucked me in. I couldn’t turn it off. I had to see it through. Bliss reminds me of a soap opera, but with really long, intense sex scenes. That’s why I think this movie would be great for couples. The storyline is pretty heavy and the sex scenes are good enough to keep a man interested.
